Pregnancy yoga is a very gentle approach to the well being of both mother and child at this very special time. With emphasis on breathing and relaxation, and experienced guidance in mild postures it is the perfect way to prepare for the birth and nurture a new being into the world.
After a child is born many mothers experience post-natal depression, loss of self or find it hard to find some peaceful time for oneself.
Oftentimes the Post-Natal Classes help to alleviate depression, encourage the individual to focus and/or relax as well as ensuring at least an hour of time alone.
Friendships and lasting bonds with other new mothers are also a huge benefit to some mums who may be without family nearby, new to the city or who are just a bit overwhelmed and finding it difficult to cope with a new baby.
The classes are lead by Victoria Bosso, an experienced yoga teacher qualified to teach pregnancy yoga. Victoria has been practicing yoga for over 15 years.
